Biography

Lexa Madison is a Toronto-based actor with a passion for physical theatre, queer and Jewish storytelling, and pushing boundaries in theatre and film. With her infectious energy, sharp comedic instincts, and deep commitment to authenticity, Lexa brings a vibrant presence to every role she takes on. Lexa is deeply committed to advocating for gender equality in the arts, ensuring that women have the space, recognition, and opportunities they deserve to thrive in the industry.


Trained at York University’s Acting Conservatory, Lexa has developed a versatile and physically dynamic approach to her craft, shaped by the Batdorf Technique and her work with classical text. Throughout her time at York, she had the privilege of training under some of Toronto’s most sought-after instructors, including Keira Loughran, Erika Batdorf, Laurel Paetz, and Jamie Robinson, each of whom expanded her artistic toolkit.


Her experience spans both screen and stage, from acting alongside Judd Nelson in the Hallmark Channel’s Cancel Christmas to playing the fierce and unforgettable Evil Gabbi in She Kills Monsters. With a background in stunt work, gymnastics, and dance, Lexa thrives in physically demanding roles, always pushing herself to bring bold, fully realized characters to life.


In addition to acting, Lexa is a trained dancer (hip-hop, jazz, tap, ballet), singer-songwriter, and vocalist. She has honed her voice since the age of seven. WDrivento break stereotypes and tells meaningful, impactful stories, she is excited to continue her artistic journey, embracing roles that challenge, entertain, and inspire.
